I am so glad you’re here! How exciting it is for you to start planning one of the biggest events of your life. I am sure things are a whirlwind. You’re trying to fit in planning, but you work too many hours, have a social life, and are barely fitting in 45 minutes for your personal time. We work together to make planning less of a juggling act and so much more enjoyable. I navigate, organize, and present. You review and decide. I am there for you to make the planning approachable and fun so your energy can be focused on everyday life so you can ultimately enjoy your dream event easily executed without all the stress. As I have spent countless hours doing research on the best venues, best event designs, and asking hundreds of vendors in the event industry within our area alone, the 40 plus reccommended questions about their services. Ensuring only the best of the best, with the right price, are added to my contact list at your disposal.
My name is Sonia. I am the owner and lead planner of Dauphine Weddings & Events. On a personal note... I have a wonderful family who I love, which also includes my little Yorkie-Mix and Maltese aka Maddie and LuLu. Thankfully my Son is grown and in College so no more toddlers to run around after, but I do love being with them at all our wonderful Birthdays, Showers, and religious events! In regards to language, I can understand and speak English, French, Spanish, well enough to get by and I have a business partner who speaks French fluently for those who are celebrating a cultural event. I love to swim in my spare time and visit art musuems.
Professionally, I have worked in events industry for several years. People hire me when they are serious about having an unforgettable, well-managed wedding or other milestone event. In addition to being Certified in Wedding Planning, Event Design, and Travel Planning for your destination events, I am a Certified Master Event Planner from a New York Institute. I am also a member of the "Association of Bridal Consultants." Being respected and admired amongst my peers, my accomplishments are evidence to my talents as I have had my weddings featured on "The Knot" wedding site as their featured cover page for certain venues. My ability to plan, create, and manage gorgeous weddings are skills that I have passionately developed over time. I have a keen eye for detail and adding those little touches that make all the difference, including the stand-out moments you—and your guests—remember forever. I thrive on navigating logistics and putting together the puzzle pieces of your special vision while you get to enjoy the day!
Most people spend so much time planning, orchestrating, and managing their weddings and every other special event, that they end up missing the entire day. Only after, they wish they had a professional to organize and expedite their wishes for them. In addition to spending over their original planned budget due to unforeseen expenses that I seek out to avert. I truly enjoy helping others save time and money overall.
Many of today's everyday demands simply do not allow for the time required to devote to planning the type of amazing milestone events they hope to have. Memorable well-planned, and coordinated events and weddings usually cannot be planned in between work hours, the evenings, and during a few hours after work. So let me help!
